Within the Armenian language, the term “Nayiri” is said to symbolize the enchanting essence of Armenia itself. This design is a small attempt to channel that great essence into a simple, elegant graphic. Muted colors were used in order to include the famous Armenian trifecta of color but in a more understated fashion. The year 2800 BC is featured in this design because it is considered to be one of the markers of the beginning of our people, discoveries from this time period marking the earliest traces of Armenian civilization.
